"I love this game." Basketball has been my passion since I first picked up a ball at the age of four. Countless hours spent dribbling in my backyard, envisioning the excitement of making last-second threes, laid the foundation for my journey as a player.
That dream came to life in seventh grade during a tournament championship game with the Oakland Soldiers at Alameda College. With just five seconds left and our team down by one, I received the pass, drove to the basket, and executed a tough layup that sealed our victory. That exhilarating moment not only solidified my love for the game but also ignited my drive to excel on and off the court. Basketball is more than just a sport for me; it’s a platform for growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
I'm a senior at De La Salle High School in Concord, CA, where the guiding motto "Les Hommes De Foi" or "Men of Faith" shapes my journey. As a passionate student leader, I run the Asian Pacific Islander Club, dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within our vibrant community.
Balancing academics and athletics, I've achieved a 4.26 GPA and received multiple North Coast Section President's Awards for Academic Excellence, along with consistent High Honors recognition. At De La Salle, a powerhouse in Bay Area athletics, I leverage my dedication to training as a 6'4" point guard and wing player. My contributions have helped our team secure back-to-back runner-up finishes at the North Coast Section Open Basketball Championships, and I've been recognized as Defensive Player of the Year and nominated for Athlete of the Year.
In addition to basketball, I sprint hurdles for the track and field team, where we've celebrated championship victories at the North Coast Section Meet of Champions for two consecutive years. My journey is a testament to hard work, leadership, and a commitment to excellence—qualities that I carry into every endeavor.
